Metabolism-Boosting Drinks:
First thing in the morning, have a glass of water with about half of a lemon and even a little bit more for flavor. The secret is to add a dash of apple cider vinegar, a dash of cinnamon that’s good for your blood sugar and apple slices for sweetness. Put this drink in the fridge overnight and it will kick start your metabolism in the morning!

Healthy Protein Shakes:
Protein is one of the essential nutrients for the body so if you don’t have enough, your metabolism will not be as fast as it should be. Take almond milk, one banana, almond butter and half- scoop of Quest Nutrition Protein Powder, blending that up and enjoying a nice shake. The protein powder makes it taste like a delicious chocolate milkshake but it is so much better for your body and will fill your body up with the best and essential nutrients!

No soda. Only natural sugars:
Eat natural sugars (fruit, natural sweet sugars) and drink tons of water because 75 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated. So if you’re reading this, go run to your fridge and grab an ice-cold water bottle!

Simple-Effective Exercise:
Now for those of you that don’t like vigorous exercises but are still looking to get fit and toned, hiking is the best and easiest way to stay/get fit! Low-intensity cardio does wonders for the body and if you are doing an uphill course, it will do wonders for your legs! Also if you’re hiking and carrying a backpack, you’re going to be burning a lot more calories and your back will be super strong!

Power Walk:
Power walking is absolutely amazing for your cardiovascular system and you can spend time with your dog if you have one and enjoy a beautiful view!
