The first round of DECA is over and the results are in! First off, congratulations to all who have participated; it takes a great deal of courage to enter a competition with limited knowledge as to what is ahead. To those who worked really hard but did not make it to states, remember all that you learned from this experience. Remember the words of John C. Maxwell: “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.” There is always a next year (and for the seniors participating, there is collegiate DECA)!

As for those who have made it to states, congratulations! Your hard work and on-your-feet thinking earned you a spot in the Cherry Hill Competition. On behalf of the Trailblazer, we wish you all the best!
