This spring we will be seeing a lot of young athletes on the tennis courts playing their hearts out. We expect big things this year from the tennis team.

Sophomore Morrison Bibi shares his thoughts on the upcoming tennis season.

“This year can be our big year to make things happen and go far in the state tournament,” Bibi said.

Clearly, players like Morrison Bibi are looking forward to the season and are expecting big things. This is a necessity to becoming a successful team and allows the team to set goals so that they can work towards them.

“I am very excited for the upcoming season because I am ready to win matches and work hard with my teammates. The team is ready ” Albert Said.

Junior Daniel Albert explains how he is excited to compete with his fellow teammates. He shows how his team is in the right mindset to win matches. In order to actually win matches, you must have the right attitude.

Star senior Matthew Wang explains the work ethic of the varsity tennis team.

“We all play during the off-season indoors and make each other work harder. We challenge each other to make sure we are ready to compete when the season comes around,” Wang said.

All of these components show us how the tennis team is ready for the season. It will be fascinating to see how the tennis team performs this upcoming season.
