What you will need:
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- 2 tsp Canola oil
- 7 cups Chex cereal
- 1 cup Candy melts, red
- 1 cup Pink candy melts
- 1 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
- Plastic bag or bowl
Steps:
- Place your chex cereal in a resealable plastic bag or bowl
- Heat up your red and pink candy melts with vegetable oil in the microwave until melted
- Pour your chocolate mixture into the Chex cereal and mix until coated
- Pour your powdered sugar over the mixture and completely coat it
- Lastly, add in your candies (sprinkles and M&M’s) and mix until combined
- Let cool down and enjoy!!

Brownies are another classic, decadent treat that can be modified perfectly for Valentine’s Day with their red velvet addition.

What you will need:
- ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 oz chopped semi-sweet chocolate bar
- 1 & ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- ½ tablespoons red gel food coloring
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 & ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional) mixed in the batter or melted and drizzled on top of the brownies.
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped semi-sweet chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments. Stir until fully melted.
- Add in the granulated sugar and mix until combined
- Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, white vinegar, and red food coloring.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined (Be careful not to overmix) If desired, fold in white chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared 8×8 inch pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with some crumbs
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.
- Optionally, drizzle melted white chocolate on top, allow to set, slice, and enjoy!
