Bands come and go as time goes by, but two bands in particular seem destined to last. Two of our PHHS classmates, April Hanna and Brianna Musco, are each members of two amazing bands!
Senior Brianna Musco plays lead guitar for an amazing band called Scarlet 201. This band consists of Brianna Musco from PHHS, senior Tommy Readie from PHHS, Sean O’Rourke from Westwood, Julianne Depardieu from Old Tappan, Shreenath Bhanderi from Old Tappan, and Chris Murphy from Park Ridge.
Their all-time favorite song played together as a band is “San Francisco” by The Mowglis. They recently played at the Pascack Valley Relay for Life event at Westwood High School on May 17th. The band has been together for about 3 months and is excited about their future as a band.
Senior April Hanna is the bass player of a band called The Union. This band consists of 5 members: Carson Badame, Connor Kenyon, April Hanna, Noah Winston, Keith Spaar. Two are Pascack Hills students, April and Noah.
They have played together as a band for almost 3 years and during that time their favorite songs to perform together are “Money For Nothing” by Dire Straits, “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd, and “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
“We played at Beechwood Park in Hillsdale for Fright Night back in October with a few other bands, “ says April. “The band shell is in the middle of the woods so it was a rad venue to play.”
Their upcoming gigs are at the Montvale Street Fair on June 1st and the Park Ridge Town Picnic on June 7th.
Definitely check them out!
