Singer-songwriter Zach Bryan concluded his 2024-2025 “Quittin Time Tour” with an amazing final show over the weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 27th, Zach Bryan broke the United States concert attendance record, having 112,408 fans attend his show at “The Big House,” the University of Michigan’s football stadium. Before him, George Strait held this record at the Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, with 110,905 fans in attendance. A concert supporter, AEG Presents, released the final attendance record on Sunday, shocking everyone.
The Big House just can’t stop setting records, as this was also the first ever concert held at the stadium. It is now open to other touring acts to perform there. Rob Rademacher, the chief operating officer at Michigan athletics, said that they have been close to hosting a concert before but wanted to have the perfect performance for their first. They knew that Zach Bryan was a perfect fit for the role, and he did not disappoint. His concert truly set the bar high for the next performance in Ann Arbor.
Saturday night, John Mayer opened the concert singing some of his pop rock hits and setting the mood for the evening. Shortly after 9 p.m., Zach Bryan came on stage, walking out to the song “Mr. Brightside,” a Michigan football staple. Like this tradition, Bryan was able to incorporate many important aspects of the culture of the area into his show.
He wore a University of Michigan football jersey and was aware of the traditions that usually take place at “The Big House.” This connected him to his fans, many being students at the university. After this, he played his first song, “Overtime,” making the crowd go wild. During the show, Bryan thanked his fans for the “best night of [his] life” while singing an emotional song, “East Side of Sorrow.”
Throughout this tour, Bryan always put on a stellar performance, lasting two and a half hours. He played a setlist with his most popular songs, but also changed it up each night as a surprise to the audience. Often, he also featured a guest appearance. Some of these people included Bruce Springsteen, Kacey Musgraves, and John Mayer.

During some shows, he brings up a lucky fan on stage to sing a song along with him. Throughout his tour, he has always been so connected and caring of his fans and really enjoys himself. One of the highlights is when he plays his last song, “Revival,” for over ten minutes at the end of each show, introducing and thanking each of his band members and giving them each a solo performance.
Zach Bryan doesn’t just play great music, but gives a whole experience to everyone there. His concerts will be missed for now, but fans can look forward to his new album releasing Jan. 9, 2026, called “With Heaven on Top.”
