While in class or checking your email, I am sure all of you have heard about Hill’s newest club, DECA. DECA, which stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America, is an organization in which high school students around the world compete in Business related topics such as Marketing, Finance, Hospitably and Management. Within these areas, you can compete in a role-play and or write a paper. There is something for everyone to compete in! If you like sports, you can do a role-play for Sports and Entertainment Marketing. If Fashion is your passion, then you can write a Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan. Perhaps you and your friend want to be lawyers, so you can work together on a Business Law and Ethics presentation. Pascack Hills is very fortunate to have Ms. Gamgort as the advisor so she can help you with any questions you may have along the way! Last year we had 12 students make it to Cherry Hill, NJ for State’s completion and Anthony Marchetti excelled to Nationals in Orlando, Florida. This year we have 135 members (more than half than last year!!!) so we plan on doing even better and making it to Nashville for Nationals!
