This past Friday, a large group of Pascack Hills photography students took a field trip to The Bronx Zoo to capture pictures of wildlife. It was a great day in the city to take pictures; bright sunlight, the perfect temperature and all the animals were out. As you would expect, the more popular animals – like the lions, giraffes, polar bears, tigers, and elephants – were the talk of the field trip. However, some of the smaller animals were truly unbelievable sights. For instance, the little lemurs with their bright orange eyes and their black and white striped tails. After this trip, photographers learned that they enjoyed going to the zoo more with a camera than simply going to look at the animals. With a lens in hand, it’s truly spectacular to witness how incredible these creatures are.
