Woodcliff Lake Mayor and Council Honors Robotics Team
By Hanna Kimball
On Monday June 19, FRC Team 1676, the Pascack Pi-oneers, was honored by the Woodcliff Lake Mayor and Council. The team’s CEOs were presented certificates from the Council acknowledging the team’s successful season.
Junior Ella Hofstetter says, “It felt nice that the borough of Woodcliff Lake went out of their way to honor us. Things like this make all of the time and effort we put into everything we do worth it.”
Woodcliff Lake Mayor, Carlos Rendo, says this was important to the Woodcliff Lake Council “because this is for the first time since we have been honoring students, that we have a World Champion!”
