Charleen Schwartzman to resign as assistant principal
Christine Pollinger, the current assistant principal at Pascack Valley High School, will step into her place.
On Monday night at their regular meeting, the Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education approved the resignation of Charleen Schwartzman, the assistant principal at Pascack Hills. After her last day in this position, she will be working at Pascack Valley High School as a math teacher, which will become effective July 1, 2022.
The same night, the BOE approved Christine Pollinger, who is the current assistant principal at Valley, to step into her place.
In addition to this change of position, the BOE unanimously approved new hires for the district, the 2022-23 school year calendar, and athletic resignations. Four out of nine BOE members were unable to attend the meeting, so the meeting was adjourned after 45 minutes.
