The Cowboys Wrestling Team is anticipating a winning season that is rapidly approaching. Coach Bucco led his team to a great season of seventeen wins and only eight match losses last year.
One of the team’s greatest victories was taking down Pascack Valley, our main rival. All of the team’s hard work was rewarded handsomely when they qualified for the state sectionals. This achievement was their main goal and focus, as it is every season.
Coach Bucco and his team are excited about the upcoming season. The boys are already busy training in the weight room and back on the mat.
Bucco tells his team that “the goal for each season is to be better than the last season.”
The Cowboys’ first varsity team match is Friday, January 3, 2014 against Ramsey. Prior to that match, the team faces Lakeland in a tournament on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Come support the team!
