Halloween is right around the corner, and if you’re anything like me and my friends, you probably still have no idea what to be. This article will help you pick some fun group costumes!
A super easy costume idea for you and your friends is to dress as your “red flag.” All you need is a red shirt and a Sharpie—just write your biggest red flag on the shirt. Some funny examples are “I pour milk before cereal,” “I never text anybody back,” or “I can’t ride a bike.”
A similar idea is to dress up as a “white lie.” A white lie is a small, harmless lie, and for this costume, all you need is a white shirt with your lie written on it. The best part? Any number of people can join in, so it’s perfect for groups of all sizes.
For something more classic, try dressing up as America’s favorite candy: M&Ms. All you need is a shirt with a big ‘m’ on it. If you don’t feel like DIY-ing, you can find them on Amazon for about $15.
If you have a trio, consider Alvin and the Chipmunks. Alvin’s costume is a red shirt with a yellow ‘A’, Simon’s is a blue shirt with a yellow ‘S’, and Theodore’s is a green shirt with a yellow ‘T’. For a group of six, add the Chipettes! Brittany wears a pink skirt, pink jacket, and pink tie; Jeanette wears a purple plaid skirt with a purple shirt and denim jacket; and Eleanor wears a turquoise skirt and green sweater.
These easy group costumes will keep the Halloween spirit high. So grab your friends, have some fun, and make it a night to remember!
