I Think You’re Perfect: Part I

I Think You're Perfect: Part I

Have you ever felt that you were all alone? Even when you’re surrounded by tons of friends and family?

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Even when times get rough, you will never be alone.

Trust me I would know. I have these feelings almost every day. But, I keep a smile on and act like everything is perfect in my life. Even though, tt some points, I’m completely hopeless and just want to give up.

All these feelings started when I was in 6th grade. I was constantly bullied for the way I looked or my weight. I would get called “thunder thighs” every day and I honestly hated everything about myself. This is when I began to starve myself. I refused to eat breakfast, I would throw away or give my lunch to someone, and dinner I barely touched my plate and I would just hide in my room.

This all continued throughout the rest of middle school into high school. Some weeks it wasn’t as bad but others I wouldn’t eat for weeks.

I know that sometimes your self-confidence isn’t as strong as it should be. I know times get rough and people can be mean.
The only thing you need to remember is that you can’t change the way you are.

No matter how mean people can be you just need to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself over and over again,

You are beautiful.

Try your best to show you don’t care how people see you and how you look. High school can be rough, we all know that, but you have to keep a positive mindset.
