With fall’s recent 2015 debut and Halloween just around the corner, the treats of the season are here. When fall came, my first thoughts were “I want pumpkin to be in everything I eat or make”. Obviously, using this fall fruit in everything is unrealistic, but this shows how much people can love this season’s food. Fortunately, most Halloween or fall cuisine taste as good as they sound; these are worth a try.

During autumn, Starbucks brings back its signature Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is, for sure, a favorite of many. It is considered a “masterpiece in a cup” because of its harmonic blend of pumpkin, coffee, and warm spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg. As well as the signature PSL, Cinnamon Chai Tea Lattes also say “Fall”. The mixture of cinnamon, ginger, rooibos and black tea sings on your taste buds as you drink it. But be careful, because you might get a milk mustache from the frothy milk garnishing this gorgeous drink.

Another amazing treat that you can enjoy during the fall are caramel apples. These are sure to cure your craving for something sweet. The delicate caramel that is wrapped around the apples is to die for. Caramel apples can be enjoyed plain or with a topping, such as crushed pecans. You can snack on these delicacies at an autumn carnival or on Halloween.

During Halloween, the shelves at stores are packed with a variety of candies. Sour Patch Kids give you a kick of sour and then a hug of sweetness when you eat them. These little candies give you a burst of flavor in one bite and leave you wanting more. In junction with Sour Patch Kids, Starburst is also a favorite to get on Halloween, but only the pink ones are worth receiving. The taffy-like texture results in a wide smile on your face. The best candy to eat on Halloween is Snicker’s. It has a gooey, crunchy, and sweet taste. This is definitely heartier than your average chocolate bar.

The final fall food you should check out is Pumpkin Spice Oreos. If you like regular Oreos and anything pumpkin-spice, you will love these bite-size treats. Pumpkin spice Oreos taste mimic the taste of a Starbucks PSL. Although they can be quite sweet, they go great with a glass of milk or cup of hot tea.

Fall will be gone soon and winter food will take over, so make sure you go and try these delicious fall treats.
