On March 24, Netflix announced that Taylor Jenkins Reid’s book, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, will be receiving its own adaptation film.
The Goodreads Choice award-winning historical fiction novel follows the story of a fictional Hollywood actress, Evelyn Hugo. She decides to give an unknown journalist, Monique Grant, a final interview and an inside look into her glamorous life.
The book was released in 2017, but recently gained more attention on the app, Tik Tok, under the “BookTok” page where it is one of the most trending reads, recommended by several people.
Netflix has not since released any information about the cast for the movie or the official release date, but that has not stopped fans from creating their own dream cast for this book’s film.
