Tuesday March 1, 2016 was Super Tuesday, when 11 states held a primary or a caucus. Super Saturday took place on March 5, 2016, when 5 states held a primary or a caucus. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were the big winners on those two days. Both Trump and Clinton won 9 states.  Here are the results from the Republican and Democratic sides.

With regard to delegates, Trump and Clinton are in the lead for their respective sides. For the Republican Party, 1237 delegates are needed to win the nomination. On the Democratic side, 2,382 are needed to win. As of Monday March 7, this is where each candidate stands with his or her delegates.
