    Got Health?

Since the school year is already fully underway, wouldn’t it be nice to start eating healthier? Eating healthier will help you feel great and look great.

When you’re packing your lunch and you start reaching for that bag of potato chips or chocolate chip cookies, instead, pack foods that have natural sugars such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and honey.

How to incorporate these foods in your lunch is what everyone has trouble with. Instead of packing Oreos, choose sliced apples with a pack of peanut butter, which is filled with natural sugars from the apples and protein from the peanut butter.

You can also pack vegetables such as carrots and a small plastic container of your favorite dressing.

Some dairy options include cheese and crackers, yogurt and granola, and milk to drink.

Honey is probably the hardest to include with your snacks, but you can put honey in yogurt with granola, or dip fruit in honey, which is healthy and delicious.

Your body needs proper nourishment at all times to help growth and development, and this remains important throughout your life.

When you eat healthy foods, you feel nourished, energized, and—of course—healthy, which not only benefits you physically, but also mentally.

    Happy eating!
