At their regular meeting on Monday night, the Pascack Valley Regional High School District Board of Education discussed recent updates.
Due to impending weather conditions, Superintendent Sarah Bilotti postponed the student reports and curriculum presentation. She also confirmed the 90 minute delayed opening on Feb. 27.
The BOE acknowledged the accomplishments of the district’s hockey team. For the first time in program history, the team advanced to the state semifinals.
“This is the furthest they have ever went…this is a very big deal,” said BOE President Joseph Blundo, “Let’s hope they win.”
The BOE also approved the resignations of assistant cross country coach Robert Buccino and PVRHSD head swim team coach Courtney Farrell Rems. Cynthia Cook was appointed the girls lacrosse assistant coach.
The meeting did not last long since there was no old business to be discussed. After ten minutes, the meeting was adjourned.
