On Friday, Oct. 24, the Pascack Hills Marching Broncos took their talent beyond the football field, to perform at the New Jersey Devils game at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. After weeks packed with competitions and halftime shows, the band was ready to keep their annual tradition alive.
Led by Director of Bands Ryan Dore, who also teaches music technology, guitar, and more at Hills, the Marching Broncos performed five songs. Their performance included crowd favorites like “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond, “Hey Baby” by Bruce Channel, “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes, and some shorter tunes like “Narco” by Blasterjaxx and Timmy Trumpet, and “Industry Baby” by Lil Nas X.
Reflecting on the experience, Dore commented, “The Devils game is always a fun experience. It’s the end of our competitive marching band season, so it’s a fun event where we can go and perform and have a good time and be together.”
This performance came after another amazing Marching Band season. You can see the marching band perform at more events, including the football games, back to school night, 8th Grade Orientation, and pep rallies.
